'the REMIXXs' (2021) is a series of moving image pieces visually enhanced for commission. Queer electronic punk duo, Arch Femmesis, invited me to display visuals at one of their shows alongside Baby Tap and Tokky Horror.
Utilising both archived footage and finalised works, I readapted each to meet the band's call for gross and glitchy visuals.
Having the opportunity to revisit works such as 'GORGEOUS' (2020) and 'Untitled babe' (2021) reminded me to take advantage of colour grading more often. Usually I rely on the image's natural colour, but their remixes impacted another layer of psychedelic chaos.
